They are sitting underan extremely tall shed of very light construction.In fact it is one of those purely imaginary buildingsof the fifteenth century, which would be of no realservice as a shelter. Before the child kneels one of the kings, an agedman, with flowing beard and white hair. He hasjust placed his crown at the infants feet, and is alsooffering a vase of costly perfume. His draperiesare soft and clinging, but are richly trimmed withgems. These precious stones are painted with asmuch care as any of the more important parts ofthe picture. Behind him stands another king, inan equally rich but even more ornate costume. Hewears a turban, and is carrying a vase similar tothat presented by the first king.
