Русский: Площадь Парижской Коммуны (Екатеринбург) — площадь на проспекте Ленина в Екатеринбурге. Бывшая Дровяная площадь Екатеринбурга в 1919 году была переименована в площадь Парижской коммуны. Главным украшением её был новый городской театр. В 1927 году в сквере напротив театра был поставлен памятник Я. М. Свердлову. В 1954 году на противоположной стороне площади было возведено монументальное здание в стиле советской «неоклассики» для объединения «Свердловскуголь», в котором разместился Уралоблсовнархоз, а затем Уральский государственный университет им. А. М. Горького.
English: The area of the Commune of Paris in Yekaterinburg. This building is one of the educational buildings of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia, B. N. Yeltsin.
Lenin Avenue, 51 Architect A. P. Taff Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky (USU) was founded on October 19, 1920. In 2012, The Ural State University had been reformed into Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia, B. N. Yeltsin who graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute (UPI, a part of UrFU today) in 1955 as a construction engineer. The programs and projects being implemented by the former Ural State University are now being implemented within Ural Federal University |
