Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Tree Hotel Iffley Standing on the corner of the junction between Church Way and the lane leading to Rose Hill is this substantial Victorian brick hotel named after for an elm tree long gone. In the 1980's it was replaced by the flourishing English oak seen here. The village stocks were located on this spot. The hotel now boasts the 'Annora' restaurant, called after the C13 anchoress who holed up in a cell next to the village church.
