The disband-ing of the Rush faculty will be fol-lowed, it is announced, by the reappoint-ment of several members to the newdepartment of the university. The neces-sity for such an arrangement, long sinceproved abroad, has been demonstratedalso in this country, especially at JohnsHopkins university, as the only satisfac-tory basis of research work of enduringvalue.
