ON The line throughout is of a single-pole bracket construc-tion on tangents and of the span type at curves. Theinsulator used in both span and bracket construction isshown in one of the illustrations. The brackets are known FEEDERS The feeders are supported on thetelephone crossarms and the feederdistribution is shown on the diagram on page 8. Thepower house occupies an appro.ximately central position,and as the arrangement of feeders is symmetrical ineach direction, it is only necessary to consider one-half: For the first five miles from the power house thefeeder has a capacity of 500,000 circ. mils, and for the nextten miles 300,000 circ. mils, when the capacity is reduced to211,000 circ. mils for two miles. The feeders and trolleyare tied together every 1000 ft. This is an exceedingly sim-ple arrangement and it will be noted that there are no sub-stations for the forty-one miles of road.
