he span wire is galvanized steel, com-posed of seven strands No. 11 B. W. G. wire. The trolleywire is put up in duplicate throughout, the distance betweenthe two wires being 6 ins. It is required by the local post officeofficials that guard wires shall be placed over all trolley wireswhere there are any telephone or telegraph wires. Thesemerely consist of two No. 10 B. & S. galvanized wires, carriedabout 18 ins. above the trolley wire, and separated from eachother by about 2 ft. They are insulated from ground bysmall button insulators, being interposed between mainguard wires and the poles. The feeders are four in number street of 70 ft. and a depth of 151 ft. The ground floor isentirely used for the storage of cars, rooms for niotormen andconductors, store, receiving office, and machine shop. Thereare five tracks carried into the shed, one only runs a third ofthe length of the building, the others being extended practi-cally the full length of the building. The floors are made of
