The tracks throughout the business part of the city andon the principal residence streets, are laid with 90-lb semi-grooved rails, placed on coiicrete stringers. The companyowns Monroe Park on Mobile Bay, where summer opera isgiven for a season of four months, which is said to be thelongest consecutive engagement of any opera company inthe United States. The Park is very popular and is unsur-passed in its equipment and the fine views which may be hadfrom all points.
