NEW METROPOLITAN RAILWAY LOCOMOTIVES The first of the ten electrical locomotives being sup-plied to the Metropolitan Railway by the British WestinghouseCompany was delivered some few weeks back, and has re- 313 tested on the Harrow line between Baker Street and Uxbridgeon passenger traffic with equally good results. Fig. 1 is adimensioned drawing of the locomotive, and Fig. 2 a generalview. The ten locomotives on order will be used for hauling the STREET RAILWAY JOURNAL.
