DOUBLE-TRUCK INTERURBAN CAR BUILT BY THE GEORGIA RAILWAY &ELECTRIC COMPANY 5 ins. x 5 ins. The car has straight sides and is sealed with24-in. x 6-in. ash longitudinal; gained in all posts, )4 in-J H~m-V-ceiling, glued and nailed to the longitudinal ceiling. Theplatforms are made of one continuous piece, j4-in. x 4-in. x finish of the car. The seats are of the Wheeler No. 52 rattantype with grab handles, and are transversely placed, with theexception of the four longitudinal seats atthe corners of the car. There are thirteenseats to the side. The electrical equipment consists of fourGE 67 40-hp motors, mounted on trucks alsobuilt and designed by the company. Owingto the length of the car, two trolley polesare used. Every car is furnished with theNational Electric Companys air brakes,AA-i type air compressor. The cars arealso equipped with Consolidated Car HeatingCompanys heaters and the J. G. Brill Com-panys gravity platform gates. The trucks are made of 4-in. x 4-in. Z-bar;bolste
