AUTO COACH FOR THE CITIZENS TRANSIT COMPANY The Citizens Transit Company intends to operate twenty-fiveor thirty of these coaches from Campus Martius, in the heartof the city, over the bridge to Belle Isle. This is one of the fewsections of the city not served by trolley lines, and doubtlessthe new coaches will do a large business from the start. Asthe illustrations show, the coach is excellently planned for con-venience, compactness and strength. The stairway to the roofis neatly arranged and occupies little space, and the motor-mans cab is also compact. All the windows, including those in the motormans cab, are arranged to drop into pockets. Themotors are supplied by a storage battery placed in a box sus-pended under the coach. The length of the coach body is 14 ft. 6 ins., and the totallength over the crown pieces, 20 ft. 6 ins.; from the end panelsover crown pieces at either end, 3 ft. When this ticket is used for a straight trip the conductorpunches a hole above the line Stadtische Strassenbahnen(Municipal Street Railways), but when transfers are desiredthe ticket is punched below this line.
