Interiors are finished innatural color cherry, and ceilings are of birch. The Narragansett type of cars are 40 ft. \Y% ins. overcrown pieces, and from center of corner posts over crownpieces, 4ft.; width over sills, 8 ft. 1 in., and over posts at belt,8 ft. ins.; sweep of posts, 2^4 ins. Cars are mounted on Brill 27-G trucks, with 4-ft. wheel base,33-in. wheels and 4-ft. axles. ♦ ♦♦ By arrangement with the Boston Elevated Railway the Bos-ton & Worcester Street Railway Company is now operatingcars from Worcester through to Park Square, in Boston.Heretofore the Worcester cars have run only as far as theterminus of the Elevated line at Chestnut Hill, Brookline,where it has been necessary for passengers to change cars. SEMI-CONVERTIBLE CAR FOR TEXAS pletely concealed in the side of the car by a window stool togive it the effect of an open car. The car has swinginggates on both ends, so as to be run on double track, and canbe equipped with side or Hale & Kilburn walk-over seats. Theconstruction throughout is the Kuhlman standard.
