TROLLEY CAR FOR NEWSPAPER DISTRIBUTION corner of Clark and Washington Streets at 3.45 a. m., and runsdown Clark Street and Wentworth Avenue as far as Englewood,about seven miles. At points along the line distributing wagonsmeet the car and relieve it of its load of newspapers. Therewould seem to be no good reason why a similar practice could notbe carried out in many other cities and in other parts of Chicago.This is the first move made by any of the Chicago street railwaylines towards carrying anything but passengers and the UnitedStates mail. Baltimore Company to Insure Employees Lives The United Railways & Electric Company, of Baltimore, hasarranged to insure the lives of the motormen and conductors inits employ. In the case of fatal accident while in the service ofthe company the sum of $1000 will be paid to the family of thevictim. This arrangement has been entered into with State InsuranceCommissioner Wilkinson, who is designated by a law passed bythe last Legislature to act
