ILLUMINATED STREET, MILWAUKEE trucks, and lighted by 6000 lights of different colors. Theyconsisted of a variety of subjects, presented without anyaim at continuity of idea, but solely for their picturesquebeauty and scope for fantastic display of form, color andeffulgent light. The first float was a fac-shnile of the battleship Wiscon-sin, and, under the strong lights that focused on the spot,she seemed a real ship afloat on a white sea. Severalmusical chariots, decorated with swans necks, whoseheads extended far in advance of the charioteers, dispersedradiance and music at the same time.
