nd of the Adamantine worked up this way on T-rail frogsand switches using 60-lb. rail. A most interesting feature, both byits suggestiveness and by its relation to export trade, was that ofthe steel ties to be bedded in cement and intended specially foruse on tropical roads, where the conditions are adverse to lon-gevity in wood.
