Washington.—In an action to recover for an injury sustainedl:)y plaintiff, a child of tender years, by being run over by a streetcar, it was not error to refuse to charge that, if she attempted to crossthe street and track without looking for approaching cars, she wasguilty of contributor) negligence and could not recover. The opinion of a physician, based on the present condition of aplaintiff in an action for personal injuries, a child, as shown by herown testimony, is competent to show the probable results of the in-jury in the future. Evidence is admissible to show the noise made hy the cable of astreet railway at the time a plaintiff started to cross, and was struckby a car and injured. A judgment for 130,000 for personal injuries to a girl eight yearsof age is excessive, and will be reduced to f 12,000, that being theamount fixed by a former jury.—(Mitchell V.
