The track is laid with 90 lb. girder rail in the citypaved streets, and 60 lb. Tee in macadam and interurbansections. The rails are laid with broken joints and onties 7 in. X 6 in. X 7 ft., laid two feet centers. On theinterurban divisions where the track is laid, for the mostpart, over the companys own right of way, the roadbed isston ballasted to a depth of six inches under the ties.The special work is of manganese steel and Johnstonbonds with return feeders are employed. The feed wire is of 500000 c. m., and the poles are ofiron in the city and chestnut with iron brackets in thesuburban section.
