idation of the Metropoli-tan Street Railway Company, the Metropolitan CrosstownRailway and the Lexington Avenue & Pavonia FerryRailway, of New York, was filed with the Secretary ofState, May 28. The amount of the capital stock of thecombination, which is to be known as the MetropolitanStreet Railway Company, is $13,500,000. There are ninedirectors, as follows: Herbert H. Vreeland, Thomas F.Ryan, R. S. Hayes, Albert W. Fletcher, H. S. Beattie andRalph L. Anderton, Jr., of New York; Daniel B. Has-brouck and Charles E. Warren, of Brooklyn, and HenryA. Robinson, of Yonkers. The new road assumes all thedebts of the others, amounting to $9,250,000. The sharesof the new company are to be given share for share forthose of the companies combined. The capital stock isequal to the combined stock of the three.
