a Car Com- prising about forty acres, in theoutskirts of that city. A largenumber of electric lights, foun-tains, etc., will be installed herein time for the next summer sea-son. The ground lies on the shoreof the lake, and a promenadewill be built over the water to adistance of over 700 ft. At theterminus of this pier, a casino 200X 300 ft. will be built, with a pro-menade forty-four feet wide at theends and twenty feet at the sides.The casino will be constructedlargely of glass, and when illumi-nated by electricity will presenta very brilliant appeanrace. Alarge restaurant will be locatedon the second floor. No admission fee will becharged, but only those who comeon the cars of the electric rail-way company will be permittedentrance. The Hartford & West Hart-ford Horse Railroad Company ofHartford, Conn., has completed atraffic arrangement with theHartford Street Railway Com-pany, by which the cars of theformer company reach thecenter of the city over the Farmington Avenuevision.
