R. have recentlycompleted a stable for the use of the Put-nam Avenue and Halsey Street line of carsthat may beregardedas a model both of sim-plicity and convenience. It is not as large PLAN OF SECOND STORr. as many other stables that might be foundin either New York or Brooklyn, but itsappointments are first class and we thinkit will be fouud more interesting to aliirge class of readers than the stables ofgreater cap\city would be. Few roads haveneed of accommodations for three or four thousand horses, and yet it is not uncom-mon to find as many hundred under oneroof.
