| Description |
English: The Sailors' Safety at Pwllgwaelod This old pub tucked under the lee of Dinas Island only yards from the beach is said to have been in business for 500 years until shut down in the early 90's. Once a notorious drinking den (visited by Dylan Thomas and friends in 1951) as well as an informal family refreshment spot where children trooped in and out with sandy feet, it was closed for a number of years until re-opened in 2006 as a restaurant and bar catering for holiday-makers. |
