The class as a body pledged it-self not to join any fraternity for one month, and during that timeall of the fraternities did some hard work. But when the timearrived for action we made a bold strike and succeeded in captur-ing four of the best in the class, which was more than any otherfraternity did. They were the following: V. CHAPTER LETTERS. 229 been initiated since our last letter. We lose many men by grad-uation, but hope to find others to fill their places. Bro. O. T. McCroskey, who is a member of the senior liter-ary class, has been elected its president. He has made the bestgrade, not only in his class, but in the university. Since his en-trance he has always stood in the lead. Lambda is very proudof such a member. We have one of the editors of the college magazine. Ourstanding in the law class has been among the best. We have received a number of pins, which were ordered byWright Kay & Co. Among the number was a chapter pin pre-sented to Lambda by our resident members, John Corvan, Ed.Green, Mitch Cummins and Leslie Stratton. A pledge buttonwas also purchased. Bro. E. J.
