English: The McFarland, a deep-draft hopper dredge owned and operated by USACE Philadelphia District, conducted urgent dredging for 62 days on the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River starting in late March of 2015. The dredge was called upon because high stages impacted navigation along the Mississippi River.
