Description

The face of a smiling peladito that thanks to the Geniol aspirin, supports the nails, screws, pins of hook and other sharp objects that cross his head, was transformed into a graphical metaphor of the headache. The artist who created this painfully imaginative image, Lucien-Achille Mauzan, was considered to be Argentina's "father of the advertising poster". In this figure, he deftly communicates to the viewer a definitive image of pain. Nails, pins, and even a corkscrew are shown protruding from the poor guy's head.

This replica was acquired in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2000.
