English: The H.C.S. George the Fourth Captn T.W. Barrow, at the Entrance of the Straights of Sunda, Feby 1830 (plate altered from Sir David Scott)

Starboard stern view of a three-masted East Indiaman George the Fourth, running before the wind into the Straights of Sunda, with all sails except the top-gallants hoisted. She is flying the British ensign from the stern and three signal flags from the main mast. The gun ports appear to be open and figures are visible on the deck. Two other three-masted ships can be seen in the background as can numerous local single square-sailed craft. One such vessel is in the foreground showing a stern oar-rudder, thatched shelter and several turbanned figures. The coastline is visible showing hills with thick vegetation and palm trees along the shoreline.
