The Grand Boulevard and Concourse, underthe act, will be 182 feet wide. Before closing this article, perhaps it would be well tocall attention to the proposed sewer and highway in thecounties of New York and Westchester through the BronxValley. Under the provisions of Chapter 1021 of the Lawsof 1895, a commission was appointed to inquire into the expe-diency of constructing a sewer along the valley on the edgeof the Bronx River and to report such recommendations as itmight deem proper. The1 proposed trunk sewer is of specialinterest to the people of the new portion of the 24th Ward,as, when completed, a part of the sewage system of thisdepartment will connect with the proposed trunk sewer.
