English: The First Flight Ticket Office at Brooklands In 1911 the World's first flight ticket office was built at Brooklands in Weybridge, Surrey. This consisted of a simple brick and wooden-built hut operated by Keith Prowes Ltd until World War I. Here passengers' flights in biplanes of a few miles around Brooklands cost about a pound. The hut is now an exhibit in Brooklands Museum |
