Description
English: The Castle Stoke Newington. The Castle Pumping Station located in Green Lane was built in the 1830s together with two reservoirs and a water treatment works to meet London's Growing demand for water. Water treatment for the East Reservoir moved to Walthamstow many years ago. The West Reservoir see 61272 is managed for wild life and water sports it is no longer used as a water supply. The redundant Castle Pumping Station is now the biggest indoor climbing centre in the UK.
