Ma-jesty, you are lovely. The Queensmiled, he said, and so did the King, and then that lovely lady tilted her headover on one side as pretty as a bird andsaid to me, *That is very nice of you,thank you. And did she smile! Oh boy,—a million dollars worth thats all!Ill never forget it. As the party walked over to the chil-dren, the King, accompanied by MissPeters, and the Queen by Dr. Wash-burn, they both chatted freely and askedmany questions. King George askedhow many children there were in theHospital, and remarked that with aclimate like this there should not bemuch illness amongst children. Hewanted to know the cause of most oftheir trouble, and when told that it waspoliomyelitis, expressed sympathy forthem. He then asked Miss Peters howlong she had been here, and if she hadbeen superintendent of nurses all thetime, asked about the number of nurseson the staff, and when told that therewere graduate and student nursesseemed very interested in the fact thatwe were trainino^ nurses.

Two nights before Their Majestiescame to Edmonton a little twelve-yearold girl dreamed that she would meetthem and talk with them. She was oneof the crippled children selected at ran-dom by Their Majesties for royal smilesand greeting.
