The School for Graduate NursesMcGill University No news is said to be good news andthe fact that there has been no reportin the Journal from the McGill Schoolsince last June may be interpreted inthis way. Those who have followed theups and downs of the School will be in-terested in hearing of developments anddecisions which have ytry recently re-ceived official approval. The School of Nursing, the name as-sumed a few months ago, has been dis-carded in favour of the original title.The School for Graduate Nurses. Tomake a long story short, the Universityauthorities m their recent discussion ofthe problems of the School realized asthey never had before that the McGillSchool is the only one in Canada devot-ing its whole programme to the prepa-ration of graduate nurses. The former name thus took on a ntw significanceand the authorities voted in favour of itsre-adoption. A Standing Committee of Senate hasbeen appointed to replace the AdvisoryCommittee.
