In the lower grades theconstruction work in drawing constitutes anatural basis and preparation for the moreelaborate work of the sixth, seventh andeighth grades, which includes mechanicaldrawing, practical exercises in carpentry,and lessons in the use of woodworking tools.The accompanying table gives a suggestedcourse for the three upper grades.
