Photographs can be made improperly; but with moderncertified lenses in a scientifically constructed camera and theoriginal document in court for comparison, there need be nofear that any injustice will be v\^orked by photographs properlychecked up. Photographs are now rarely excluded. While their ad-mission is discretionary with the court, yet it is seldom thatthey are not admitted in evidence or at least as illustrations. When courts, lawyers and laymen understand that documentphotography as practised by skilled and honest photographersaids in disclosing the facts, there will be even a greater de-mand for product of the camera as an aid to justice. 300
