Description
Português: O casal "vocalizava" bastante quando foram flagrados no Tanquã em Piracicaba - SP. Para quem não conhece é um vilarejo de pescadores próximo à cidade, considerado um "mini pantanal", que abriga diversas espécies de aves. Nome Científico: Gubernetes yetapa. Nome Inglês: Streamer-tailed Tyrant. A tesoura-do-brejo pertence a maior família de aves exclusivamente neotropicais. A espécie ocupa brejos, campos úmidos e buritizais, ocorrendo no Brasil da Bahia ao Rio Grande do Sul e na Bolívia, Paraguai e Argentina. Alimenta-se principalmente de insetos. Ocorre da Bahia e Minas Gerais ao Rio Grande do Sul.
