Description	Temporary nighttime lane closures for Watt Avenue bridge are underway Aug. 15, 2013 in Sacramento Calif., as crews prepare to install a seepage cutoff wall in the levee beneath the bridge. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives, the project contractor and the California Highway Patrol closed three lanes of traffic during non-commute hours in order to drill through the bridge to access the levee. Last night our project team - including our contractor, staff from our safety and construction management offices, and the California Highway Patrol - safely closed three lanes of traffic so we could drill through the bridge to access the levee. We're working at night to minimize traffic disruption, and we're working to get this project to reduce flood risk for Sacramento as quickly as we can.
