Description

JOPLIN, Mo. -- Greg Fosson, a civil engineering technician deployed here from the Corps' Huntington District, provides quality assurance oversight for contractors working at the Officer Jeff Taylor Memorial Acres temporary housing site. The approximately 18-acre site includes space for 194 modular housing units and 10 storm shelters for families displaced by the May 22 tornado. The site is named in honor of Riverside, Mo., police officer Jeff Taylor, 31, who was killed by lightning while on tornado disaster response
