Description
English: Tempe mendoan is a traditional food from Central Java, mendo means half cooked. Tempe mendoan is made from soybeans also in a different method from the usual tempe. Mendoan tempeh is arranged in banana leaves with soybeans that are separated slightly apart and not much, so the shape must be thin. Meanwhile, the fried tempeh is definitely a bit thick and has more soy beans. Tempe mendoan is usually served with a spicy soy sauce
