Description
Français : Schéma basique d'une bombe H de type Teller-Ulam. Ce type de dispositif a notamment été testé dans Castle Bravo et des versions optimisées sont présentes dans les têtes nucléaires actuelles. Le principe est de faire imploser un premier stage (fission) qui va projeter des rayons X sur la partie dédiée à la fusion. La partie en jaune est du polystyrène qui se transforme en plasma et compresse un coeur d'uranium 283 contenant du lithium-6 (carburant pour la fusion).
