Description
English: Record player and cutter by Telefunken called "Tonograph". This machine was used in professional studio environments. Production year unknown, probably around 1940. Museum für Kommunikation, Frankfurt, Germany. Photo by Maximilian Schönherr with help from Lioba Nägele.
Deutsch: Der Tonograph war ein von Telefunken für professionelle Studios hergestellter Schallplattenspieler und Tonfolienschneider. Das heißt, das Gerät konnte Schallplatten abspielen, aber auch auf bestimmten Scheiben von außen angelieferte Töne aufnehmen. Produktionsjahr unbekannt, vermutlich um 1940. Museum für Kommunikation, Frankfurt. Foto von Maximilian Schönherr, unterstützt von der Referentin für Nachrichtentechnik im Museumsdepot Heusenstamm Lioba Nägele.
