Français : C'est le roi Ralambo qui a inventé la célébration du nouvel an malgache pour commémorer annuellement le jour de sa naissance lequel serait la première lune du mois d'Alahamady. La première célébration du nouvel an malgache ou Taombaovao malagasy a lieu dans l'enceinte royale du village d'Ambohidrabiby. Aujourd'hui encore et tous les ans, le village d'Ambohidrabiby célébre le nouvel an malgache ou " Taombaovao malagasy" durant le premier jour du mois d'Alahamady ou tsinambolan'Alahamady, soit la première lune la plus proche de l'équinoxe du 21 mars.
