Description
English: Tank Britannia in the Dallas Morning News on February 23, 1918
  • caption: "Although there have been sensational reports of the accident to the British tank Britannia at Camp Dix, it has been announced that there is no basis for any of them. The tank has performed some remarkable feats for the National Army men, crashing through woods and the sides of building just as it does in field service. At one exhibition the tank skidded on the ice and toppled over. One man was hurt slightly. The next morning the huge machine was righted in less than an hour and again set running."
