Description
English: The Oriel Window, South Gallery, Lacock Abbey, photogenic drawing negative, 3 1/4 x 4 3/16 in. (8.3 x 10.7 cm), The Rubel Collection, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, USA. A better-known postage-stamp-size negative showing the same window has an attached annotation, in Talbot's handwriting, stating that it was taken in August, 1835. The date of this much larger negative is uncertain.
