Description
English: Spc. Martin Garza (with binoculars) of Alice, Texas, and Sgt. Eric Meinhardt of Summerville, S.C., paratroopers with B Battery, 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, try to get a closer look at a dead animal they suspect may be rigged with explosives while patrolling down a street in Adhamiyah known as an IED "hot spot," Feb. 16. Paratroopers from the 2-319th are using foot patrols to disrupt the insurgents' ability to emplace IEDs and armor defeating devices along the roads.
