日本語: 竹中家譜で語られる半兵衛
竹中家の家紋である”九枚笹”です。 竹中一族の系図『竹中家譜』には、「長篠の戦い」でのエピソードが残されています。 戦いの最中、武田勢の一部が左側に移動したため、横から襲われるのではと焦った秀吉は迎撃しようと兵を動かしました。しかし半兵衛はこれを陽動作戦だと捉え、その場を離れなかったといいます。この読みは見事当たりました。 また、半兵衛は天正7年（1579）、中国攻めの最中に病死しますが、秀吉から京での養生を勧められたものの「陣中で死ぬのが武士の本望だ」と断ったそうです。そんな半兵衛が最期に秀吉に授けた兵糧攻め作戦は、その後の秀吉の戦いにも勝利をもたらしています。 |
