Present (among others) Drs Bree, Bright, Hawkins, Watson, Wadd, Mrs Vincent, Reate, White, Jeffereyes, Robinson, Fallofield Absent Dr. Macmichael, Mr. Copeland
At the meeting of the club in March, it was resolved that in the future ... vlaue of Wine given by members who had been presented ... or who had professional promotion, should be limited to the sum of two guineas each and in case of the marriage of a member or his receiving any lucrative professional advancement a sum not less than four guineas should be allowed for wine to the club on every such occasion. N.B. All doubtful cases to be left to the discretion of the Treasurer for the time being.
