Summary

[edit]
Description
English: As a result of climate change, the nature, environment and weather of every country is changing drastically. Because of this, we have to think creatively to survive extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions. Buildings should be exceptionally designed to be environmentally friendly. Friendship Center in Gaibandha district of Bangladesh is such an exceptional establishment. Built in 2012, the facility is underground.

There are small ponds and trees to keep the environment cool. Green grass is planted on the top of the roof. Covered with green grass, the rooms of this establishment are naturally quite cool. All modern facilities are arranged here. Friendship Center is a unique creation of Bangladesh architecture. Its architect Kashef Mahboob Chowdhury has received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture from Switzerland for its beautiful architecture.

After all, such houses may be a better option in earthquake prone areas. Which will simultaneously keep the rooms cool in excess heat. I have taken the image from Gaibandha city in Bangladesh.
