Suriname Basemap Borders and Border Rivers

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This map shows the Borders of Suriname, and the correct names of the border rivers. these river names are often incorrect and misleading on maps produced bij third parties. The border with Guyana is formed by the Corantijn and the Upper Corantijn River. These 2 rivers belong to Suriname in its entire width, the border lies on the west bank (Guyanese side). The border with French Guiana is formed by the Marowijne, Lawa and Marowini River. The border is agreed to be the middle of the river. Islands in between have been divided between Suriname and France.
