Description
English: Surge tank at the Garlogie Mill Power House Museum Garlogie Mill, a former woollen mill, is now a museum http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/museum_gfx_en/AM14665.html It was initially driven by water power supplied by mill ponds upstream; in 1923 convert to generating hydro-electricity, one of the earliest examples of its kind. This man-made hill houses the surge tank, part of the system for generating hydro-electricity.
