| Description |
English: Supposed Roman Road over Blackstone Edge. The alleged Roman Road crossing Blackstone Edge is a scheduled ancient monument. Although not evident in this photo, much of this route is paved. The supposed roman origin of this route is hotly debated: many consider the road to be a medieval packhorse road.
