Description
English: When referring to "superbug" Klebsiella pneumoniae, it typically means strains of the bacteria that have acquired multiple antibiotic resistance mechanisms, making them difficult to treat with standard antibiotics. Klebsiella pneumoniae is naturally resistant to certain antibiotics, and through genetic mutations or acquiring resistance genes from other bacteria, it can become resistant to multiple classes of antibiotics.
