| Description |
English: Millennium sundial on the village green at Epwell, Oxfordshire. It works by placing a stick in the hole as a gnomon. The slate discs around the edge mark the hours. The rectangular panel farthest from the camera is a map of the village; the two side ones are lists of contributors; the bottom one explains how the sundial works. Its position in context is shown here 449031 |
