Summary[edit]

Description

Description: Ocular projection of the sun with a few sunspots using a spotting scope (50mm diameter, 45x magnification) and a sheet of paper (resp. the white inside of a book cover). The apparent granulation is due to that of the paper rather than the photospheric granulation. This photo is taken one month before the Image:Sun projection with spotting-scope large.jpg and with less technical experience. Therefore it is rather an example for amateur astrophotography than a scientific document or art. In contrast to the later picture it has not been erected but shows the sun as it appeared on the paper (upside down). Cropped but not downscaled since >1024 size is recommended in Wikipedia.
